CRAYONHEADS! The flights out of Cleveland and into Burbank were uneventful save for a bit of turbulence, but that was easily gotten over. I was picked up at the airport by my sister and we chilled at the house for a while and after a good stretch out and a nap, we went to Sushi Dan's and errand running. My hair is now burgundy and I'm still getting used to it. My sister dyed her hair orangey-red. We look like a couple of crayons.
Last night we went to a place called Leonor's, where we had vegetarian mexican food, which I've never had and now need to find in Cleveland or at least get recipes for it so I can make stuff at home. Totally filling and good. We also got empanadas. I usually only get empanadas in DC when I visit my brother, but they were there and needed to be purchased. I'm going to have one for breakfast.
Going to work on the preliminary sketches for the portrait commission I'm here for. My sister and I already hashed out the collaborative work that we're doing. The commission is something different.
